Walking, Biking and Rolling

Walking, Biking and Rolling
Central

On Wednesday, October 8, Central School students and their families participated in the school's annual walk/bike/roll to school day.

Students joined children and adults around the world as they celebrated the benefits of walking, bicycling and rolling!

The students were welcomed to school that morning by local police, crossing guards, staff and student patrols.

They also signed a poster that will hang in the hallway all year long.

Stickers and shoelaces were also given out to all those who participated. Students also had the chance to sit in a squad car!

Walk and Roll to School Day began in 1997 as a one-day event.

The day helps build a sense of community, encourages school spirit and inspires families to use their feet for the school commute more often.

Thousands of schools across 47 states participated this year!
