Author Lizzie Waterworth Santos visited Central Elementary School on Thursday, September 21st for a 4th and 5th grade assembly!
Lizzie started working in voice animation at the age of 22.
She has played roles in award winning shows such as Horrid Henry, Bob the Builder, Mush-Mush and the Mushables and many more.
In 2019, she was nominated for a BAFTA for her role as Henry.
Now she travels around the world helping young people learn to build their speaking confidence. "How To Talk So People Will Listen" is her first book.
She read a few pages of her book and had the students participate in activities.
Students had a chance to partner up and create their own characters with the lab creation packet.
They then had an opportunity to present their character to the students.
Students were engaged in Lizzie's presentation and were excited to be a part of it!
