On March 5, Central Elementary School hosted a fun and engaging Literacy Night for students and families in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The evening was filled with exciting activities that celebrated reading and learning together.

Families enjoyed Book Bingo, participated in a book exchange and took part in a special mystery reader experience.

The mystery reader turned out to be Mr. Brian Moresco, District 62's school resource officer!

Students and families also explored a variety of K–5 literacy learning activities and had the unique opportunity to read with therapy dogs.

It was a wonderful night that brought the Central School community together to celebrate the joy of reading!
