Central
This week Central School held an Eagle Excellence Assembly full of laughs, awards and pie-smashing!
To start off the assembly, Mrs. Mette's students helped lead the Eagle Chant.
A handful of students who had entered a raffle won a Squishmallow stuffed animal.
More than $600 was raised for the Gary Sinese Foundation!
First graders also had the opportunity to throw a pie in their teachers' faces.
Thank you to Ms. Siguenza, Mrs. Sloan and Ms. Arrequin for being such great sports!
Also honored at the assembly was Mrs. Sobon's second grade class for being the excellent class of the week. They will receive a visit from Regal the Eagle.
The November Eagle Excellence students were also honored at the assembly for being respectful, responsible and ready to learn!
And finally, Ms. Lucas's second grade class was recognized for walking the most miles (119!) in November.
