Fifth grade Central Elementary Schools students in Ms. Earl's art class are creating drip art paintings inspired by the murals of contemporary artist Jen Stark.
Stark is an artist known for her psychedelic, brightly colored drip art, which is inspired by nature.
Putting their knowledge of color theory to work, students mixed tints and shades to create a gradient that goes from light to dark.
Once finished, the students will hang their pieces as part of a collaborative installation in the halls of Central School.
Everyone can't wait to see the finished product!
