The Central School Drama Club is a fun way for 4th and 5th graders to get on stage and show off their talent and self-confidence.

This year the club presented Welcome to Candy Kingdom, a colorful world where lost sweets find a home.

When the Candy Apple family doesn’t quite fit in, they set off on a journey to ask the King and Queen for a place to stay.

The drama club is led by Multilingual Resource Teacher Ms. Kara Matjoulis and Special Education Resource Teacher Ms. Jennifer Skoog.

The teachers said the students put in more than 25 hours of after-school rehearsals-learning lines, practicing scenes and working together to bring the show to life.

They said it's definitely not easy, but along the way they build social-emotional skills and support each other as a team!
