A Tour of the United States

A Tour of the United States
Central

Over the past few months, the fourth grade students at Central Elementary School have been learning about the regions of the United States.

As a culminating project, each student took on the challenge of becoming an expert on a specific state, uncovering its unique history, culture and landmarks.

Students wrote research papers about their state, as well as created a persuasive speech about why everyone should visit their state.

To bring their knowledge to life, the fourth graders created colorful trifold boards complete with fascinating facts and eye-catching visuals about each state.

The students transformed themselves into living representations, wearing costumes that reflected the spirit and character of their state.

Fourth Grade Teacher Erin Fergus said through this hands-on learning experience the students improved their research and writing capabilities, practiced their oral presentation skills and fostered a deeper appreciation for the rich and diverse culture of the United States.

Congratulations to all the students on a job well done!
